DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: HE'S WALKING ON YOUR TROUBLES.
Bible Reading: Matthew 14:22-27, Psalm 91:15-16.
The disciples of Jesus were in the boat on the sea going through terrible storm in the middle of the night, as they were going through this, suddenly, they saw a man coming towards them walking on the sea and they became frightened thinking it was a ghost coming towards them, they thought the worst is about to happen to them. But suddenly, they hear the voice of the master saying to them, DO NOT BE AFRAID, IT IS I.
Many times we see life going the direction we do not expect, and we think the worst has come. But in the midst of those situations, if you can listen, you will hear the voice of the master saying to you, IT IS I, DO NOT BE AFRAID.
When we go through challenges of life, we do think we are the only one in midst of the challenges. But Jesus is saying to you that this is not true, because he is with you there.
Psalm 91:15 says, "I will be with you in trouble and I will deliver you".
In Isaiah 43:1-2, the Lord said fear not, I will be with you, when you go through waters or fire, I will be with you. It is the deception of Satan to make you feel, that you are alone in your challenges, so that you will not put your trust in God to help you through, and you can finally give up, and end up a failure.
The truth is that, you are not alone in your situations and challenges, I hear the Lord saying to you, don't be afraid, I am with you. God is not a lier, Jesus does not deceive, God is with you, no matter what your experience may be presently. All it take is for you to trust in God, and He will make a way for you to escape.
Ones you have this understanding that Jesus is there with you in the midst of the situation, then you must be rest assured that Jesus will turn things around to your favour. So no matter the trouble you see outside you, know from inside you that Jesus is with you.
The Lord is with you, and all things shall workout to your favour in Jesus name. Never forget, he is the master of the sea, whatever is troubling you now, Jesus is walking on top of it already.
Prayer point: Pray that God will always give you grace to carry the consciousness of God's presence with you all the times, and never to doubt it.
