Topic: ARISE SHINE
Bible Reading: Isaiah 60:1-3, Psalm 119:105&130.
Arise shine, says Isaiah the prophet by the Holy Ghost. This means shinning is automatic, when the glory of God appear on us. But the appearance of the glory of God in your life, is directly connected to the light you have.
What exactly is the light? That is the revelation of God's word to revealed to you. David said in his Psalm, that the word of God is light unto our path, and much more the entrance of that word into our heart is what produces light.
It's possible to be listening to the word and yet don't hear it, it is also possible that you can hear the word but it may not enter your heart, so you don't understand it. Remember that Jesus quoted Isaiah saying; in hearing they shall hear but they will not understand. Matt.13:14. These attitude to God's word as mentioned will not produce light in your life. It's the word of God that you hear, that enters your heart, you understand and practice, that produces light in you, which resulted in the appearance of God's glory in your life, and thus you shine.
Therefore, anything you can do to catch revelation of God's word, pay that price until you catch the revelation, because until there is information, there can't be revelation and if there is no revelation, there can't be transformation, and when light comes glory shall appear. May the glory of God manifest and takes over your life in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will connect you to the light of His word, that will bring His glory to your life. And receive grace to take responsibility to catch up with the light that God is bringing to you, in Jesus name.
