Topic: MORE THAN ENOUGH GOD.
Bible Reading. Isaiah 41:17-20.
"When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none....".
This is a very complicated situations, that the poor and needy can find themselves in a situation, when they very much desire for water and find none. We are not talking of food need food here, because getting food to eat will certainly require money, even if the food is not much. But if the food is not available due to lack of funds, one can resort to survive on water for sometimes until he can solve the food problem. This is because one may not need money to get water. But if now one find himself in a situation where even the common water is no more common, but very scarce, then, we know there is trouble on ground.
The verse said when they seek for water and they find none, when their tongues are fainting for thirst, and there is no where else to turn except to cry to God.
God now said in Isaiah 41:17-18, that He will hear them, He will not abandon them in thier helpless situation. He will responds to them and open to them rivers, and give them fountains. This is the nature of the God Jehovah, whenever He is ready to help a man, He does not provide for your need according to your need, He is far more than that, He provide for your needs according to His riches in glory, He is able to do exceeding aboundantly above all you ask or think. That's why God said He will give to the needy not just water to drink but rivers of water.
When you get to your state of helplessness, you have not come to the end of life, you are only in a situation to experience the magnificent power of God to provide. He will never abandon you, even, if everyone did. Your case is not close yet, God who is more than enough is your father, and what you think you lack today, God is able to give you more than enough of it. Where you need just water to drink to quench your thirst, God will give you rivers instead of just a cup of water.
Prayer points: Pray that God will meet you at the point of your needs, and recieve faith to connect to His available resources, what you lack, God will give more than enough.
