DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY.
Topic: YOU CAN STOP THE DEVIL.
Bible Reading: James 4:6-8, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.
When negative things happen in life people put the blame of it on God, because lack understanding of how God works. It's important that we need to know that Satan is always out to do the opposite of what God is doing.
Where God is saving Satan is destroying, where God is giving Satan is robbing and stealing, where God is blessing Satan is cursing, the list is endless.
And God gave believers the secret of dealing with the Devil in his word. And to successfully handle the Devil is very simple and easy, all it takes is your submission to God. To submit to God, you must do it in submition to His word manifested in total obedience to Him. The scripture we read said, submit yourselves unto God, only then you can resist the Devil and he shall flee from you.
You can't be disobendient to God's word and still want to use the same word of God to attack the Devil. Sin of disobedient has put you on the same level with Devil until you repent and start obeying. Disobeying the instructions of God is like telling Him to leave you alone, that you can run your life yourself and this is pride, which happened to be the sin of the Devil why he was sent away from heaven. That was why verse 6 says God himself resist the proud. There is a pride shown to God, and there is a prided to men, the spirit and attitude of pride, God hates. And I have never known a man who is proud, and is obedient at the same time, a proud man is always disobedience and never ready to take instructions.
But when you submit to God, and you're willing to obey him, when you walk with God by His word no Devil or demons can resist your command. 1 Cor 10:6 says that God will turn to reprimand, punished, rebuke and attacked anyone, Devil or demons who try to go against your order, when your own obedience to God is complete. Once your life is in line with God's and divine instructions, no forces of darkness can stop you. As you go today, may you know how to walk in line with God's word in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray for grace to be humble, to submit to God's word, and be in total obedience to God all your life time in Jesus name.
