Topic: BE A SOLUTION AND NOT A PROBLEM

 Bible Reading: Psalm 105:16-22, Genesis 50:21.

"Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them."

God who rules in the affairs of men, allowed famine to come on the land, but for His people God has send a man to make room for their provisions against the famine. There was a severe famine on the land that time, but before the famine began God has sent Joseph ahead of the children of Israel. God gave him the solution to the famine that was coming, and that gave him a edge above every other persons in Egypt. Though, the way he got there is not palatable at all, and he does not look like he is a solution. He was faced with a serious challenge of betrayal by his own blood brothers. 

But when the time came for him to fulfill what God sent him there to fulfill, he did it well, took good care of his brothers. Despite the way they treated him in the past, now that he has both the sword to punish them and also has food to sustain them, but he choose to forgive and forget what they did in the past, and took very good care of them. 

If you want God to trust you to be a solution to your family, friends, village, town, city, and country, you must develop ability to forgive and forget. Many people have been overshadowed by the wound of the past, and all you think of and look for, is that one day you will return back to the people who treated you badly in the past to pay them with their coin. If this is in your mind the power that solve problems for people will never get to your hand. Be it wealth, positions, wisdom, influence or any other positive things to help men, these will not reach you, because God knows if you get those powers to help men, instead of helping them, you will rather take vengeance, that is why those things will not be released to you. And therefore, you remain poor, and live a low level life. 

Develop today the heart that only desire to be a blessing and not a curse, heart that want to be a solution and not a problem. May you become the Joseph for your family, friends, town, city, country and our generations in Jesus name..

Prayer Point: Pray for the grace to forgive, bind spirit of offence, and pray that God bless you so as to be a blessing to many others in Jesus name.
