Topic: TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORD.
Bible Reading: Psalm 1:1-3, Joshua 1:8.
"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
Many time it looks like you don't see results when you try to put the word of God to work, but the truth is that the word always work and produces result, as we can take responsibility to work right daily. You can never blame your car for not working when you refuse to fuel it, or you refuse to take responsibility of driving it. No matter how good your car is, you cannot just enter and sit at the owners Conner expecting that the car to drive itself and carry you to where you desire. You must take responsibility to do the needful by turning the ignition on, and change gear to direct it to where you aim to go. Even if it's a self driving car you will still take responsibility of operating it before the car could drive by itself to you to where you program it to take you.
The same is the word of God, you must know what to do with God's word for it to produce result in your life. If you're born again and fill with the spirit, then, take responsibility to work the word according to the scriptures quoted above, you must do these with God's word.
1. Take responsibility to search it, read it and study the word.
2. Meditate, ruminate over it, think of it over and over day and night, that is every time.
3. You must put the word in your mouth, confess it to your life and your situations every time. Stop complaining about your problems rather declare the word of God to it, it is what you say you will see.
4. Then observe to do all that is written in it, practice the word, be guided by the word of God, let your steps, decisions and actions be by what the word of God says.
When you do all these, you will have good success and make your way prosperous, whatever you do will produce result and nothing shall fail in your hand any more.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give you grace to take responsibility for the working of the word of God in your life on daily basis.
