Bible Reading: Psalm 27:6
“When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up"
Imagine the confidence you will have and how exciting life will be, if your father is the king of the land you live in, the governor of the state you work for, or the president of the country you resides. I believe you will be imagining how beautiful and great life would be, but why not? Why do you think you have to live less, you have many things to say, but the truth is that you don’t know the son of who you are. You are the child of the king of kings and Lord of lords, the government, be it local, state or federal, they operated from his shoulder. Isaiah 9:6
“And the government shall be upon his shoulder.”
Your Father carried all the government on his shoulder, if he remove his shoulder the government will fall.
That is your father, the one who really owns you, the one to whom you belong, that is if you're born again. John 1:12 says, those who believe in him he has given them power to become the son of God. That means those who have recieved Jesus Christ has their saviour and Lord. If you have not been born again, God is your creator, but God isn't your father. So for you to enjoy the fatherhood of God, you must be born again and follow him all your life.
This is my simple charge to you today, to help you in bringing you back to the reality of yourself, that you don’t have to be molested, harrased or embarrassed again, because God is your father. Relate with Him as a son or daughter and you shall enjoy the fatherhood of God.
I heard the story of a child that quoted Psalm 23:1, and I liked it, but here is my own quote of Psalm 23:1,
THE LORD IS MY FATHER, I DON’T WANT ANYTHING, BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING.
What do you say? Speak out loud and confess your own, your confession is your possession.
Keep on enjoying the fatherhood of God. God bless you.
