Bible Reading: Isaiah 32:9-18.
It is important to know that there are things in your destiny that are not going to work until the supernatural takes over before that side of your life is settled, and that is where anointing comes in. God told Zerubabel in Zechariah 4:6, that for things to happen it will not happen by might nor power but by my Spirit (anointing). Also in Isaiah 32:9-15 prophecy and said there will be all kind of troubles, things will fail, there will be mourning, they will walk naked and bare footed, their land will grow thorns and briers, there city shall be forsaken, but things will change when the Spirit (anointing) is poured. Vs 14 to 15 of that Isaiah said;
14 Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
And the Spirit released on a man is what we call the anointing. Samuel anointed Saul with oil and the Spirit of The Lord rested on him. In 1 Sam.16:13 David was anointed with oil by Samuel and the Spirit of The Lord rested upon him. Also in Acts 10:38 said God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Ghost and power, and by that he went every where undoing what devil has done. Anointing does not just fall because oil is poured on you but because you have a life that the Holy Ghost can live with. When you have the anointing yokes are broken and things in life and destiny start responding to you.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will get rid of anything in your life that may not make your life habitable for the Holy Spirit. And pray that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will rest on you.
