THE PRECEPTS - Topic: DISCOVERY LEADS TO RECOVERY
Bible Reading: 1Kings 22:3, 1 Corinthians 2:12.
"And the king of Israel said to his servants, DO YOU KNOW that Ramoth-gilead belongs to us, and we keep quiet and do not take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?".(ESV).
Until you discover what is yours, you won't fight for it. Discovery always leads to recovery. That is why God gave us the Holy Spirit to help us know things that are freely given to us by God, through the scriptures. And it is your responsibility as a child of God to find out things that God has given you, so as to stop Satan from cheating you.
When things go wrong in the lives children of God, they explain it away, by given natural reasons why it is normal to have happened the way it did. When fall into sin they blame another person who moved them to sin, when they have crisis financially, they blame it on general recession in the world. When they are sick they blame it on change of weather. When they loose contracts or admissions they say is because many people bid for it. Lack of sales in business are blamed on budgets that has not been signed. So they never fight for anything, because they never knew that God has promised them total blessings, even in famine God says we would be laughing, because we will be in plenty. Therefore, they never fight for thier health, they never fight for thier financial flow, they never fight for thier rights as promised them by God. And the Devil keep on robbing them of what is theirs, and kept them away from thier inheritances from God. But I want to challenge you today to sit down with the word of God, by the help of the Holy Spirit to find out the things God has freely given to you, spiritually, maritally, financially, academically, health wise, etc. know them, believe them for yourself, then pursue to take what is yours. Devil will not cheat you any longer.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will open your eye to the things that God has given you but you're have failed to possess.
