Topic: HANDLING CRISI STRONGER THAN YOU.
Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:1-15.
There are times you meet situations that are too big for you to handle, it makes you, afraid, and confused. That time you don't know what to do, but if you don't know what to do, you must know where to go. If a problem is bigger than you, then run to the one who is bigger than your problems.we see this through the experience of Jehoshaphat, when he was faced by a massive army of different countries, who were stronger than him, and were coming against him without any prior notice, and they are already very close, no time for preparation on Jehoshaphat side. Jehoshaphat was afraid and confused on what to do but he knew where to go, and he found help.
You must know where to go in time of crisis, and the only place you can go to get help to solve your problems. Is a place where these three are present.
1. Go where the name of The Lord is. Vs.8. Jehoshaphat said he came to the Temple because the name of the Lord is there. Matt.18:20, Prov.18:10.
2. Go where the covenant of The Lord is. That is where you can have the truth of the word of God and learn how to rightly use them in warfare. Vs.6, Jehoshaphat led Judah to the Temple because there was a covenant between God and his fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob there. Lev.26:42.
3. Go where the Spirit of The Lord is. Vs.14. Go where you can have encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit. When they all prayed, the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel. 2Cor.3:16. If you can't have an assurance of having the experience of the operation of the Holy Spirit and encounter his power, that place is not a safe place for you.
All these three generates power that bring an end to every crisis no matter how strong it can be. And these three must be present in the genuine Church of Jesus Christ, if not, you don't have a future in a church like that, and that kind of church will help you. If you want to go for help in time of Crisis, don't go to any place where you cannot guarantee that these three are present, where these are present, is the only place you can have a sure and lasting victory always. Prayer Point: Pray that God will always open the eyes of your heart to recognize where these things are genuinely present.
