Topic: CORRECT POSITIONING.
Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:14-17.
Many times children of God lost battles because they failed to recognized what is there own duty in winning a warfare in life. We tends to approach issues of life from our own point of view and not from God's point of view. We love to use our strategy and abandoned divine strategy, that is based on divine instructions.
Jehoshaphat was to fight against combinations of kings, out of which three were mentioned, Children of Moab, Ammon, and the Ammonites. They were so many, too much and too strong for Judah to confront, when Jehoshaphat heard he became confused of what to do. Then he went to the house of God to pray, and God answered there prayers by sending His Spirit on Jahaziel in vs.14, and Jahaziel was the one God used to show them the key to get victory in the battle. What was the key?
God told them not to be afraid of the massive army coming against them, they will have victory in the battle and they would not need to fight in the battle. What God want them to do is POSITION YOURSELVES vs.17 "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: SET YOURSELF, STAND YE STILL, and SEE the salvation of the LORD with you".
Everytime this is what God expected us to do so as to have victory in the battle, don't panic, never struggled, all you need to do is SET YOURSELF, (TAKE YOUR POSITION), and you will see how God will fight your battles and get you victory. Jehoshaphat and Judah took thier own position by start worshipping the Lord, and as they were singing God moved against thier enemies. It's not every battle you need to fight directly by binding and loosing, sometimes all it takes is that you take your position in obedience to God's instructions.
It may be in praising the Lord, may be in stand on the word of God in faith, may be in changing your confessions, may be in bringing up a positive attitude to life, may be in sowing a seed, may be by starting a project in faith, may be in starting a saving plan, may be in adjusting your relationship with your spouse, may be in becoming a responsibile church member etc. It is not every battle you win by fighting directly against the problem, all it takes is for you to take your positions correctly. There is something you need to do for a miracle to take place in your life, may the Spirit of the Lord connect you to what you have to do to change your situations.
Prayer Points: What you need to do, things you have to adjust, the position you need to take to have victory in your present battle, pray that the Spirit of the Lord will show.
