Topic: SOMETHING TO PLUG-IN WHEN EVERYTHING FAILED.
Bible Reading: Romans 9:15-16, Lametations 3:22-23.
"So then, it doesn’t depend on a person’s desire or effort. It depends entirely on God, who shows mercy."
There is critical lesson the Holy Spirit showed me that all has to learn to make headway in life, and that is the force of mercy. Most time we failed because we kept on trusting on what our energy, efforts, prayers, righteous standing, faith, and a lot more, can do and achieved for us.
But sometimes with our experiences in life we come to place where it looks like nothing is working again. Everything we know to do has been done and nothing changes. Then, there is something we can just hang our lives on, and that is DIVINE MERCY.
In Lametations God said to the nation of Israel that with all that you have done, the only reason for you not have been destroyed is THE LORD'S MERCY. Lam.3:22.
Blind Bartimaeus was begging on the street when the news reached him that Jesus was in the town, and began to cry to him, you son of David HAVE MERCY ON ME. And that was all he needed for a major turn around in his life. Mark 10:46-53.
I can go on and on if time permits me, but one thing I am to drive home is that no one ever comes to the Lord hanging on the power of his mercy, who never go back with an answer. The voice of cry for mercy has never been rejected in heaven for once.
Therefore, when every system you know spiritually refused to yield result, one thing to bank on is to call God for mercy and you will see him intervening in your situation. As you go today, may the voice of mercy speaks on your behalf in everything in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that the mercy of God comes upon your life and takes over every affairs of your life in Jesus name.
