Topic: LIVING ABOVE THE FLESH.
Bible Reading: Galatians 5:16-21, Romans 8:4-8.
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Many believers always complaining why they still manifested the kind of life they have decided to drop. Some even conclude it is not possible to be holy, but this is a deception of Satan to hold them permanently in bondage of sin. You need to recognise that after your salvation experience, the word of the Lord said henceforth, sin shall not have dominion on your life any longer. Why? Because, when you are born again, you are washed by the blood of Jesus, saved by grace, and the seed of God lives in you now. And by the Holy Spirit that lives in you and the word of God in you now, the scripture says the seed of God is in you, and you cannot sin.
Every seed brings forth in there own kind, and if the seed of God is in you, then, you can only bring forth in the kind of God, which is holiness, righteousness and all good things that flows in God. But many believers are wondering, why? Though, born again but they are still struggling with sin. They agreed with all I have said on the kind of life expected of them, but they wonder why there experience is different from what the word of God says.
The answer to this is that many Christians are not following what the word of God prescribed for them to live above sin, and what is that? WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND YOU SHALL NOT FULFILLED THE LUST OF THE FLESH.
One would ask, how do I walk in the spirit? It is just by simply allow the word of God to rule your life. Make decisions based on what the word says and not what your feelings says. Prayer Point: Pray and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to live by the word of God daily, put the flesh under, to live the kind of life that God desire you to live in Jesus name.
