DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY 

Topic: START SMALL AND END BIG Part 2.

Bible Reading: Philipians 2:5-11.

Yesterday we looked into this interesting topic, that it is possible to end big in life, mindless of where you are starting life from. The Lord said to Abraham in Genesis 13:14-15. 

"Look FROM THE PLACE WHERE THOU ART northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever"

Hear what the Lord said, "LOOK FROM WHERE YOU ARE". It does not matter what place of life you are now, it is a place to start with God, where you are might not be where you want to be, but you can start from there, in debt, loneliness, despise or whatever, you can get to where you desire to be in life.

Now what are the things to do to get to where you desire to be? This is my focus some days now.

1. Humility: Everyone lifted of God has a common factor and that factor is humility. Yesterday we used Jesus as our case study how he started his life so low but ended it so high at right hand of the father in heaven, far above all. But one of the major virtue seen in Jesus was humility. Phil. 2:8b-9a.

"He HUMBLED HIMSELF, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 WHEREFORE GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM.

Before fall is pride and before lifting is humility. God give more to the humble but resist the proud. A proud man is full of himself, so he will never obey, but I have never seen a humble and disobedient person at the same time, the two don't walk together. It takes a humble heart to obey and it takes a proudful heart to disobey. Which side are you? You must be obedient to God, His word, the Holy Spirit in you, spiritual authority God place you under, your parents, your boss etc.

That is the reason why it will be impossible for some people to rise from where they are to where they desire to be. Until they learn submission nothing is going work in in thier lives. I see you lifted in Jesus name.

Prayer: Pray that God will give a humble heart, and spirit of obedient.
