DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: START SMALL AND END BIG Part 3.
Bible Reading: Romans 4:18-21, 1 Corinthians 10:10.
For the past two days now we have been looking into this topic, and I believe it's bringing encouragement and understanding to someone out there.
We started checking on what to do to move from where you are to where you have dreamed to be, and the first point we considered was humility. Today let's see the second points on what to do to change level and end big in life.
That is: Appreciate and thank God for little things. I am not saying you should settle for a little life, no. In Christ we have great destiny. God said to Abraham, I will make you great, and in your seed nations shall be blessed. that is our heritage. But in Isaiah 51:2 Bible said about Abraham.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I CALLED HIM ALONE, (starting small) and blessed him, and INCREASED HIM (ending big).
How did Abraham transist from been alone (starting small) to a life of increase (ending big)? Romans 4:20 says,
"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, GIVING GLORY TO GOD;"
This was one of the major secret of Abraham's greatness, when he was alone and small, he never lived a life of complaints, murmuring and grumbling, rather, he was giving glory to God, thanking God and appreciating Him.
Complaints never solve a problem it only complicate it, no matter what you see now, or your level of life now, there is still something in your life to thank God for, and as you worship Him so He lifts you. In John chapter 6, Jesus has only five loaves of bread and two small fishes to feed Five thousands people in the desert, Jesus never complained, he took the small provisions and gave thanks to God, and the bread and fishe multiplied, all the Five thousands eat and they have left over.
Learn to thank God and appreciate Him in your small states and He will lift you and increase you. I prophecy over your life, God shall lift you, and what is not enough today will come to you soon in abundance. Have a blessed weekend, God bless you.
Pray Point: Bind every spirit of murmuring and complains in you, and pray for spirit of appreciation and thanksgiving to God.
