Topic: WAGING WAR WITH PROPHECY.
Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 2:24,31-32, 1 Timothy 1:18.
I want to sincerely wish every of my readers a happy new year and a prosperous decade, 2020 shall yield for you desired results in Jesus name.
Now that we have entered this new year, there are words as promises and prophecies that God has given to you as a person, which you are looking towards the fulfillment of it in the year 2020 and beyond. Many times after receiving promises for the year, expectations are very high, but all of a sudden the experiences many begin to have seems to be different from the promises they have received at beginning of the year. Then, they begin to have doubts whether they truly heard God, or not. Some feels they hear God but He has failed to fulfill what He says to them. But this is not true, God has never failed in fulfilling His promises and He is not going to start with you.
But what happened is that, anytime you have a prophecy or promise from God, the Devil will always reacts. In fact your prophecy from God, is an invitation to war with the Devil. As God is all out to proof himself true to you by fulfilling his promises to you, and Satan also goes all out to proof to you and others that God is a lier, by making sure that the promises He gave you does not come to pass. And either of the forces you supported will dominate your life and prevail, either the force from God or Devil. In Deuteronomy chapter 2 verse 24,31, God said to the children of Israel that He has given them the Land of Shion, the king and people there, they should arise and take it as their God's given inheritance, after God made this declaration, in verse 32 the bible says "then Shion came out against us, ......and fight." That is why you can't have prophecy from God and sit by, looking that the prophecy will be fulfilled on its own, no, not so; you have a role to play in making your prophecy a reality. Because the Devil will wage war against your prophecy and you should be determined to fight back and give it what it takes to make sure that your prophecies are fufillied.
That was why Apostle Paul charged Timothy to use the prophecy spoken over him as a weapon to fight a good warfare. You too should fight the good warfare with your prophecy and see them manifesting in your life. God is not a lier, God is true forever and ever amen.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will teach your hands to fight, and gives you strength to fight, until your prophecies and promises for the year are all fulfilled in life in Jesus name.
